Research Associate – TCR (M/F/D)

Research Associate will perform, document, and evaluate experiments independently or as directed, in a timely manner. The focus of the work is on the execution of T cell induction approaches for the targeted generation of relevant T cell receptors (TCRs), as well as the advanced characterization of isolated T cells and associated TCRs. They will be jointly responsible for the establishment and implementation of new and/or advanced assays and technologies. In addition, they will perform general duties to maintain laboratory operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Planning and conducting experiments for isolation of T cell receptor (TCR) candidates for the TCR pipeline
  • Planning and performing functional assays to characterize TCR candidates for further clinical development
  • Participation in the establishment and further development of assays and technological innovations
  • Documentation of activities and results
  • Organizational tasks and data presentation
  • General lab maintenance tasks

Your Profile

  • Completed B.Sc. / M.Sc. in immunology, oncology, cell-/ molecular biology, or a completed apprenticeship / technical training as CTA, MTA, BTA
  • Experience in sterile cell culture including long-term culture of established cell lines as well as isolation of immune cells from donor blood and their propagation
  • Experience in flow cytometry and immunological in vitro assays such as ELISA as well as molecular biology methods
  • Independent, careful, and goal-oriented working style as well as team spirit flexibility and reliability
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo., etc.
  • A work permit for Germany is mandatory
